The Weather
There are a number of perfectly good reasons to consider a move to the Costa del Sol, and of course the weather is one of the most important. Many of those who choose to swap their lives in the UK for a new start under a hot sun and clear blue skies will tell you they can’t imagine going back to grey clouds and persistent rain.
Average weather conditions in the region are hugely impressive, and of course will be far warmer than in Britain. From April right through to October, average temperatures are in the 60s and 70s, and even in January, the coldest month, they are around the 12 mark.
In June, July and August, you’ll be able to enjoy around 10 hours of sunshine per day on average, with five hours or so in December and January. There will be rain at times, of course, but on the whole that rain comes more often than not in the winter months. In general, there’s a pleasant sea breeze in waterfront towns like Puerto Banus, Estepona and Torremolinos.
The fabulous climate lends itself perfectly to enjoying a life outdoors. You can look forward to a number of extremely pleasant activities, including al fresco dining, taking part in water-sports, long promenade walks as the sun goes down and playing golf amid the most perfect conditions.
You’ll find so many ways to enjoy the climate here on the Costa del Sol. And to find out more about starting a new life in this wonderful location, all you have to do is call Simply Costa Developments on +34 682 66 22 89. We hope you’ll get in touch with our friendly team soon.
